Privacy Policy

Domba Emas Studio ("we," "us," or "our") developed and operates the Haalock Chrome Extension ("Haalock" or the "Extension"). This Privacy Policy explains how Haalock handles information when you use the Extension.

1. Information Haalock Processes

Haalock may process the following information locally in your browser:

• Extension settings, such as screen-lock preferences, keyboard and mouse-lock preferences, shortcut-related settings, Shorts preferences, and daily video-limit settings.
• YouTube playback state, such as whether a video is playing, paused, buffering, or finished, so that Haalock can provide its screen-lock and watch-time features.
• Watch-time totals for the current local calendar day, if the watch-time feature is used.

Haalock does not collect your name, email address, Google Account information, payment information, precise location, IP address, or video watch history.

2. How Information Is Used

The information processed by Haalock is used only to:

• Lock or unlock mouse and keyboard input during YouTube playback according to your settings.
• Hide YouTube Shorts when that option is enabled.
• Enforce an optional daily video limit.
• Calculate and display your watch time for the current day.
• Remember your preferences between browser sessions.

3. Local Storage and Data Sharing

Haalock stores its settings and watch-time data using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API. This data remains in your browser's local extension storage and is not transmitted to Domba Emas Studio or any external server.

We do not sell, rent, license, or share information collected or processed by Haalock with third parties. Haalock does not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or external data-collection services.

4. Permissions

Haalock requests the following Chrome permissions:

• Storage: To save extension settings, daily-limit state, and local watch-time totals.
• Commands: To support the configurable keyboard shortcut for toggling the screen lock.
• Alarms: To check for daily-limit date changes and reset daily-limit data when a new local day begins.
• YouTube host access: To detect playback state, apply screen-lock behavior, and provide the Extension's features on YouTube pages.

Haalock does not read or modify YouTube account credentials, passwords, payment details, or private messages.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Local data is retained until you remove it. You can delete Haalock's stored data by removing the Extension from Chrome or clearing the Extension's stored data through Chrome's extension settings. Daily watch-time data is automatically reset when the local calendar date changes.

6. Children's Privacy

Haalock is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Haalock's data practices or applicable requirements change. The updated policy will be published with a revised effective date.
